I am a public health researcher with a background in mathematics, music and economics. My current interests lie in healthy and sustainable diets and commercial determinants of health. My master’s thesis was a quasi-experimental study on the effects of tiered soft drinks taxes in Europe on the sugar content of soft drinks. My current PhD research focuses on the public debate on the taxation of meat for health, sustainability and animal welfare reasons (qualitative framing analysis). In addition, I am contributing to a scoping review on interventions to support healthy and sustainable diets in university canteens.
