I am a medical student and medical doctoral candidate with a background in journalism and media management. My current interests lie in healthy and sustainable diets promoted by policies and food systems. My bachelor's thesis in media management focused on the 'Challenges and Prerequisites for Telemedicine in Germany.' My current medical doctoral research focuses on the public debate surrounding the taxation of meat for health, sustainability, and animal welfare reasons (qualitative thematic analysis and framing analysis).
