During my Master’s studies in Health Sciences with a focus on Psychology, Neurology, and Nutrition, I began applying my acquired knowledge in practice at the Department of Psychiatry (Center for Cognitive Disorders) at the University Hospital of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). After completing my studies, I contributed to various international projects as a research associate at the hospital, focusing on Mild Cognitive Impairments, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Dementia. Direct patient contact allowed me to develop valuable interpersonal skills. A particular focus of my work was (dementia) education, as well as the implementation of interventions in general practices and the training of healthcare professionals in this field. I am now excited to be working at the Chair for Public Health and Health Services Research within the POKAL graduate school (POKAL-Kolleg), contributing to the improvement of depression management in primary care, among other things, through community-based measures.
