WHO Family of InternationaI Classification (WHO-FIC) midyear Meeting 2017 in Stellenbosch (South Africa)
The midyear meeting of the WHO Family of International Classifications (WHO-FIC) Network took place in Stellenbosch, South Africa from June 24 – 29 June, 2017. The South African Medical Research Council and Stellenbosch University hosted the meetings of the Family Development Committee (FDC), International Classification of Health Interventions (ICHI) and the Functioning and Disability Reference Group (FDRG).
Dr. Michaela Coenen as representative of the ICF Research Branch, a cooperation partner within the WHO Collaboration Centre for the Family of International Classifications in Germany (at DIMDI) presented an update on the ICF e-Learning Tool at the FDRG meeting (see also http://ihrs-en.ibe.med.uni-muenchen.de/biopsychosocial/currend-projects/icf_elearning/index.html).
A field testing of this tool was announced at the 2nd International Symposium ICF Education which took place in Cape Town at June 30, 2017. The start of the field testing is planned for September 2017.
