Planetary Health Talks
Online series of the Pettenkofer School of Public Health, Wednesday, 14 January 2026 | 17:30 – 19:00
21.10.2025
As part of the Pettenkofer School of Public Health's ‘Planetary Health Talks,’ experts present exciting lectures on various planetary health topics.
Planetary crises, including climate change, species extinction, and air, water, and soil pollution, pose the greatest health risk of the 21st century. For example, there is an increase in mortality due to heat waves, reduced food security after prolonged periods of drought, and mental health issues after floods or other extreme weather events.
The Pettenkofer School of Public Health's Planetary Health Talks will address the links between climate change and health. The events are free of charge, designed for an interdisciplinary audience and open to everyone interested.
The next session is:
14 January 2026 | 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
