Evaluation of „München – gesund vor Ort 2.0“

Description

The project „München – gesund vor Ort 2.0“ focuses on local health promotion in Munich. The aim is to develop programs for health promotion in different districts of the city. Based on a previous needs assessment, different projects are implemented by a local Gesundheitsmanagement (“health management”) in the districts.

The intervention is implemented by the Department of Health in Munich. The Research Unit “Health Promotion and Prevention” at the Chair of Public Health and Health Services Research at LMU Munich is conducting the evaluation of "München  – gesund vor Ort 2.0".

Based on the results of the first project phase (2018 to 2023), the project „München – gesund vor Ort 2.0“ is continued in the districts Moosach and Ramersdorf-Perlach, which have been part of the first phase. Additionally, the intervention is implemented in two new districts, Milbertshofen-Am Hart and Sendling-Westpark.

Concept

The evaluation is conducted in a participatory approach and includes the following five work packages:

Work package 1: Development of a concept for the evaluation

• Development of a logic model
• Further development of the concept for the structural, process and outcome evaluation
• Development of suitable indicators for outcome evaluation

Work package 2: Needs assessment

• Supporting the health management during the process

Work package 3: Data collection for structural, process and outcome evaluation

• Development of methods and formats as well as collection of qualitive and quantitative data for the evaluation using questionnaires, interviews and focus groups

Work package 4: Data analysis and evaluation of structures, processes and outcomes

• Analysis and preparation of data in cooperation with the Department of Health in Munich

Work package 5: Dissemination and reflection

• Development of formats for reflection with stakeholders (professionals within the districts, Department of Health, LMU Munich
