WHO-FIC Annual Network Meeting in Tokyo

The WHO Family of International Classifications (WHO-FIC) Network Annual Meeting "Health information in the New Era" took place from 8 to 12 October in Tokyo, Japan. The meeting was held together with a high-level conference of WHO member states on the 11th revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) (http://www.who.int/classifications/network/meeting2016/en).

The WHO-FIC Network Meetings serve as a platform for presenting current work and results of this work with and on the WHO classifications, including the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF). Dr. Michaela Coenen attended this year’s meeting as one of the delegates of the ICF Research Branch a cooperation partner within the WHO Collaborating Centre for the Family of International Classifications in Germany (at DIMDI).
